French international Blaise Matuidi is facing legal troubles as he meets with a judge on Monday. The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) midfielder, who was previously interviewed in August in connection with a dispute between him and his former agent Jean-Pierre Bernès, is now under scrutiny. Bernès alleges that Matuidi unfairly terminated their contract, seeking 8.5 million euros in damages.
Blaise Matuidi, of Angolan origin, is currently represented by Mino Raiola, who also manages players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maxwell.
In terms of his performance on the field, Matuidi has scored one goal in Ligue 1 this season. The midfielder, formerly with ESTAC Troyes, joined PSG in 2010 from AS Saint-Étienne. The legal dispute adds another layer of complexity to his career off the pitch.
