Hersi Saeed, President of Young Africans Football Club in Tanzania, has made significant statements regarding his team’s upcoming match against Egypt’s Al Ahly in the final round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Al Ahly will host Young Africans at the Cairo International Stadium at 6:00 PM next Friday to conclude the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Both Al Ahly and Young Africans have qualified for the quarter-finals, with the battle ongoing between them for the top spot in the sixth and final round of the group stage.
Speaking on the “Big House” program broadcast on Al Ahly TV, President Saeed emphasized that the match would be competitive, especially since both teams have already secured their spots in the quarter-finals.
He stated that Young Africans are not looking to lose and will fight to secure a victory while showcasing good football.
Saeed continued, “Al Ahly always performs differently in the knockout stages, and when they reach the semi-finals and finals, we see a completely different team.”
He added, “Al Ahly is the top contender to reach the final of the CAF Champions League, followed by Mamelodi Sundowns, while Wydad is currently struggling.”
Furthermore, the President of Young Africans revealed that he is a fan of Mohamed Salah, stating, “I am a big fan of Mohamed Salah as well as Liverpool.”
