Mohamed Moseelhi, the chairman of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Football Club, demonstrated his commitment to the team by attending the first-team training at the club’s headquarters on Saturday evening.
This move was aimed at boosting the players’ morale ahead of their crucial semi-final clash against Ceramica Cleopatra in the Egyptian Clubs Association Cup.
Moseelhi commenced his address to the players by reciting Al-Fatiha (the opening chapter of the Quran) along with the coaching staff and players.
He emphasized the need for unity among all members, urging them to act as one cohesive unit to continue achieving victories.
The upcoming match against Ceramica, scheduled for Tuesday, February 6, at Alexandria Stadium, is highly anticipated and carries significant weight for both teams.
During his visit, Moseelhi announced a special motivational reward for the players in the event of victory and reaching the final of the League Cup, in addition to the standard incentives outlined by the tournament regulations.
Furthermore, the club’s president warmly welcomed the new addition to the team, striker Sherif Reda, who recently joined from Smouha Sporting Club.
The players organized an honorary walkway to receive Reda in their unique style, highlighting the camaraderie within the team.
In parallel, Mohamed Khames, a member of Al-Ittihad Alexandria’s board, expressed his joy over the team’s significant victory against ENPPI, securing a spot in the semi-finals of the League Cup.
Khames conveyed congratulations to President Mohamed Moseelhi, his fellow board members, and the fans supporting the Green entity.
He praised the coaching efforts led by the experienced Tarek El-Ashry and commended the team’s resolute performance in the tournament.
“Our aspirations have risen with our entry into the League Cup within the walls of Al-Ittihad Club.
It serves as a gift from Moseelhi and his council to the loyal fans and members of the club,” Khames stated.
