The Togolese cadet team, after their victory against Benin in their first match of the President Cup, is set to face the Ivory Coast Eléphanteaux this afternoon at the Lomé Omnisport Stadium.
With a win or draw against the Ivorians, Kegbalo Kodjovi’s team will secure a spot in the semi-finals of the competition. On the other hand, Ivory Coast, who suffered a defeat against Benin, must win to stay in contention for the tournament.
The Cadet Squirrels, having completed their two group matches with a win and a loss, will await the outcome of the Togo-Ivory Coast match to determine their fate in the competition.
Due to Niger’s withdrawal, Nigeria and Mali will face each other in the tournament. Nigeria already secured a victory in their first match, defeating their opponent 2-0.
