Ghanaian left-back Abdul Rahman Baba, currently showcasing his talents with PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece, has emerged as a target for English Premier League outfit Brentford. The club, currently sitting 15th in the league standings, is reportedly eyeing a defensive reinforcement ahead of the summer transfer window, with Baba on their radar.

Baba, whose contract with PAOK Thessaloniki runs until June 2026, has been putting in stellar performances for the Greek side, catching the attention of clubs across Europe.

According to reports from West London News, Brentford sees the 29-year-old as a valuable addition to their squad and is prepared to make a substantial offer to secure his services.

The proposed deal would see Brentford shell out £5 million (approximately €5.84 million) to bring Baba to the English top-flight.

With the club keen to bolster their defensive lineup, Baba’s experience and skill set make him an attractive prospect for the Bees as they look to solidify their position in the Premier League.

Despite the financial implications of the transfer, Brentford appears determined to pursue Baba as part of their strategic recruitment plans for the upcoming season.

The Ghanaian defender’s versatility and proficiency on the field align with the club’s ambitions, making him a fitting candidate for their defensive reinforcement efforts.

If the deal materializes, it would mark a significant move for both Baba and Brentford, offering the player an opportunity to showcase his talent in one of Europe’s most competitive football leagues, while providing the club with a seasoned defender capable of making an impact on the pitch.

As discussions between the parties continue, football enthusiasts eagerly await further developments on Abdul Rahman Baba’s potential move to Brentford, anticipating how his arrival could shape the club’s defensive dynamics and performance in the Premier League.
