Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri has emerged as a leading name in the winter transfer market, with reports in Spain indicating that a move to the English Premier League is edging closer.
Media outlet Fichajes reports that the Fenerbahçe striker is now seriously weighing a switch to England, where interest in his profile has resurfaced ahead of the January 2026 window.
The Premier League has long been viewed as a potential destination for En-Nesyri, whose blend of physical presence and goal-scoring pedigree has previously drawn attention from English clubs.
That interest has intensified in recent weeks, driven by his current situation in Turkey and the availability of clubs seeking a proven forward for the second half of the season.
Nottingham Forest are said to be at the forefront of the race. The Premier League side are reportedly prepared to table an offer close to 30 million euros in a bid to secure the 28-year-old, identifying him as a striker capable of delivering immediate impact at the highest level.
Forest’s pursuit reflects a broader search for experience and reliability in attack as the club looks to strengthen its squad.
En-Nesyri is understood to be open to the move, viewing a Premier League challenge as a natural next step at this stage of his career. Fenerbahçe, meanwhile, are not opposed to a sale, provided the financial terms meet their expectations and represent a strong return on their investment.
Sevilla remain interested observers in the background. The Spanish club negotiated a 10 percent sell-on clause when En-Nesyri left for Turkey in the summer of 2024, meaning they could receive around three million euros should a deal be completed at the reported figure.
En-Nesyri joined Fenerbahçe for approximately 20 million euros and enjoyed an outstanding debut season, scoring 30 goals across all competitions.
His influence has dipped this campaign due to tactical changes and increased rotation, factors that have helped place his future firmly back in the transfer spotlight.
