Cameroon forward Jean-Pierre Nsame is no longer a player for Italian outfit Como after securing a permanent move to Polish giants Legia Warsaw.
The 32-year-old was farmed out on loan with an option to buy, binding Legia to purchase the French-Cameroonian as soon as the team earned even a single point in a match involving the attacker.
However, the forward’s move was made permanent after scoring his first goal for Legia Warsaw in Poland. After securing his signature, the Polish outfit loaned out the attacker to Swiss outfit St. Gallen on a short term deal.
With his loan deal expiring in June 2025, the experienced attacker is expected to return to parent club at the end of the current season.
“I am no longer a Como player. Hardly anyone knows this. Even Transfermarkt has it wrong. The move to Legia Warsaw was a loan, but with a mandatory buyout clause. It was triggered when I scored my first goal. So I was already a Legia player from the first match they didn’t lose in the Ekstraklasa,” he revealed in an interview with Blick.
Jean-Pierre Nsame has two goals and two assists in 12 appearances in the Swiss top-flight this season.
