Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu has settled into life with the Bianconeri, sharing his thoughts on his Italian journey after moving from AC Milan.
The French-Congolese centre-back, on loan with an option for Juventus to sign him for €14m plus €3m in bonuses, has found a home in Turin since joining last summer. At 24, he’s already making waves in Igor Tudor’s defense, blending tenacity with a touch of flair.
“In Italy, I’ve learned to be on my own, and I enjoy it. Turin’s gorgeous – honestly, it’s a prettier city than Milan from an aesthetic standpoint,” the French centre-back said.
Kalulu’s adaptation has been seamless, and whispers suggest he’d love to stay with Juventus beyond this season. His performances could turn Milan’s loss into Juve’s long-term gain if the Old Lady opts to make the move permanent.
Born in Lyon’s 8th arrondissement and of Congolese descent, Kalulu brings a rich background to the pitch. For now, he’s focused on carving out his place in Turin’s stunning surroundings.
