Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has rallied his Olympique Marseille side to aim for the skies in their campaign in the UEFA Champions League during the 2025/26 football season.
According to the experienced attacker, it is important for the team to fight to go as far as possible in the competition.
“If we want to compete with the best, we have to give ourselves the means which is what the club is doing this summer. For some it will be a first, for others not — but personally, I want to go as far as possible. I don’t put limits on myself,” Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang said at a press conference.
The 36-year-old has re-joined Olympique Marseille this summer after spending one season in Saudi Arabia with Al-Qadsiah.
He will be expected to play a key role in the Marseille side, which will be keen on competing for the French Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and the UEFA Champions League.
