Phoenix Rising FC head coach Pa-Modou Kah has expressed his commitment to nurturing Ghanaian midfielder Hope Kodzo Avayevu, emphasising the club’s readiness to help the young talent reach his full potential.

The American club secured the services of the 22-year-old attacking midfielder in December to strengthen their squad.

Known for his exceptional vision and playmaking abilities, Avayevu brings a dynamic offensive presence to Phoenix Rising, having previously impressed with Ventura County FC and North Texas SC.

“Phoenix Rising FC has signed 22-year-old attacking midfielder Hope Kodzo Avayevu, pending league and federation approval and receipt of his P-1 Visa. Avayevu, known for his vision and playmaking abilities, joins Rising after stints with Ventura County FC and North Texas SC, where he made a name for himself as a dynamic offensive force,” the club announced in an official statement.

Speaking on the signing, head coach Pa-Modou Kah described Avayevu as a creative player with exceptional qualities, highlighting his potential to excite fans and contribute to the team’s success.

“Hope is a talented player I’ve had the pleasure of working with before. He’s a creative player with exceptional quality who will excite our fans with goals and assists. My staff and I are eager to help him reach his full potential, which will, in turn, help this organization achieve success,” said Kah.

With Avayevu joining the ranks, Phoenix Rising looks forward to an exciting season with the young Ghanaian poised to make a significant impact.
