Paul Pogba is set to resume career without restrictions

Paul Pogba will be eligible to return to professional football as his doping suspension officially ends at midnight on March 10.

The French midfielder, once a key figure at Manchester United and Juventus, is now free to sign with a new club after serving a reduced ban.

Initially facing a four-year suspension, Pogba successfully appealed to have it cut to 18 months before Christmas. Juventus parted ways with the 31-year-old earlier this season after he tested positive for testosterone in August 2023, terminating his contract amid financial concerns and the uncertainty surrounding his return.

With his ban lifted, Pogba’s future remains a hot topic. Olympique Marseille has shown strong interest in securing his services to bolster their midfield, while clubs in MLS and the Saudi Pro League are also monitoring his situation. There are even reports of a potential return to Manchester United, though no formal approach has been made.

Despite his time away from the pitch, Pogba still holds a market value of around €6 million, according to recent estimates. Now, the 2018 World Cup winner must decide where to reignite his career as he prepares for a long-awaited comeback.
