France midfielder of Guinean descent, Paul Pogba is dreaming of making his return to the France national team.
The experienced midfield enforcer hopes to be invited to the Les Bleus squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
After serving his reduced 18-month ban, Paul Pogba is close to getting back on the pitch.
The former Manchester United star has signed for French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco this week on a two-year contract.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, July 4, Paul Pogba said to have the chance to play for the France national team again will be a dream come true.
“You can’t play for the France national team without playing for your club. The France National team would be another dream, a bonus,” Paul Pogba said.
For now, the midfielder needs to work hard and show his quality in the AS Monaco team in the 2025/26 football season.
His performances will determine his inclusion in the France squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
