Auxerre’s Paul-Georges Ntep, who has emerged as a standout player in Ligue 2, is attracting interest from various clubs. Olympique de Marseille (OM), AS Saint-Etienne (ASSE), and FC Lorient are reportedly interested in the striker. Additionally, a Qatar club has made an €8 million offer to buy Ntep’s contract from Auxerre, but the 20-year-old has rejected the proposal. Despite the attention, Ntep, who is under contract until 2015, continues to impress with his performances. He scored a spectacular goal in Auxerre’s 3-0 win over Caen in the Coupe de la Ligue. Last season, Ntep played 34 Ligue 2 matches, scoring nine goals.
