Pau FC linked with move for Bologna U20 forward Fares Bousnina

Tunisian-French centre-forward Fares Bousnina is being linked with a move from Bologna U20 to French Ligue 2 club Pau FC.

Bousnina, 20, is contracted to Bologna until 30 June 2027 and currently plays in Italy’s Primavera 1 competition. He has not appeared in either of Bologna U20’s two possible league matches this season, according to the latest figures available.

The forward joined Bologna from Nizza U19 on 21 August 2025 in a deal recorded at €300,000. His move to Pau would represent a return to France, where he developed through the youth systems of OGC Nice before continuing his career in Italy.

Bousnina was born in La Seyne-sur-Mer and holds Tunisian and French nationality. He is listed at 1.83m and operates primarily as a centre-forward.

Pau compete in Ligue 2, while Bologna U20 play in Primavera 1, meaning the proposed switch would take Bousnina from Italian youth football into France’s professional second tier. No transfer fee or agreement has been established, and the move remains at the rumour stage.

Bousnina’s current market value is listed at €100,000, while his contractual commitment to Bologna runs until the end of June 2027.
