Patrick Malo Joins JS Kabylie After Impressive Trial Performance
Burkinabe central defender Patrick Malo has officially signed with JS Kabylie after a successful trial period with the Algerian club. Malo’s performance during a friendly match against AS Marsa was instrumental in convincing the Kabyle coaching staff of his abilities.
Following the match, where he was solid defensively, Malo’s skills stood out, and the club’s management decided to take swift action to avoid competition from other Tunisian clubs that were also eyeing the young defender. Malo has now been handed a two-year contract, making him the 9th summer recruit for JSK and the second Burkinabe after center forward Banou Diawara.
Malo will be vying for a starting spot in the central defense, where he will face stiff competition from Berchiche and Rial for one of the two positions in the heart of the defense. He will be looking to establish himself as a key figure in the club’s defensive line for the upcoming season.
