Since leaving Doncaster last year, Pascal Chimbonda has been without a club, training alone in England. The French full-back, who was a surprise selection for the 2006 World Cup, has now decided to relaunch his career in the Portuguese third division. According to A Bola, as reported by Transfer Window 365, Chimbonda has signed with CD Fatima, a club playing in Portuguese D3. Despite experiencing a decline in his career, the former French international aims to make a fresh start with this move to Portugal after playing in various clubs in England, including Wigan, Tottenham, Sunderland, Blackburn, and QPR.
