Italian Serie A side Parma have reached an agreement to sign Senegalese defender Abdoulaye Ndiaye.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Emilian club reached an agreement with French side Troyes in recent hours to bring the 23-year-old to Italy.
Ndiaye, a left-footed defender, featured in 22 Ligue 1 matches for Brest last season and is set to undergo a medical today before putting pen to paper on his contract with Parma.
In addition to Ndiaye, Parma are actively scouting further defensive reinforcements. One name on their radar is Hampus Skoglund, a 2004-born Swedish talent from Hammarby, who made 20 appearances last season.
New head coach Fabio Cuesta is keen to bolster the squad as the Crociati prepare for the challenges of top-flight football in the upcoming Serie A campaign.
Abdoulaye Ndiaye will be expected to provide a major boost to the defensive set-up of Parma next season.
