Paris Saint Germain is set to offer Franco-Ivorian youngster Désiré Doué a new deal to ward off interest from Manchester City as the summer transfer window approaches.
The 19-year-old, who has been in an impressive form has emerged as a summer target for Manchester City, who are looking forward to bolstering their squad for next season.
Doué, after a difficult start following his move from formative club Stade Rennais at the start of the season, has become an important element of a PSG side that have already wrapped up the Ligue 1 title and are looking forward to winning the all-elusive UEFA Champions League title.
His performances had caught the eye of Manchester City, who prepared to convince the enterprising attacker to join the Etihad Stadium outfit.
Despite Manchester City interest, Doué intend to remain at PSG ahead of the next season.
However, PSG could now offer the forward a new deal that runs until 2030, with a significant pay rise at the club. At the moment, talks are not advanced and significant progress will have to be made before there is a signature.
