Newly promoted French Ligue 1 side Paris FC are interested in signing Malian defender Hamari Traoré.
The club has been busy in the transfer window in the last few weeks as part of efforts to strengthen the squad of the team for the 2025/26 football season.
The club has been working on a deal to sign Saint-Étienne’s Lucas Stassin and Auxerre’s Gaëtan Perrin since the 2024/25 campaign ended.
In the last few days, the club has advanced in talks to sign Union Saint-Gilloise striker Promise David.
Today, sources have reported that Paris FC are now interested in signing Hamari Traoré from Real Sociedad.
The club wants to secure the services of the former Stade Rennais captain, hoping that he will use his vast experience to help the team next season.
Seen as a smart, cost-effective target by the club’s Arnault/Red Bull leadership, Traoré fits the profile of a high-value, low-expense signing.
With just one year remaining on his contract at Real Sociedad, the Mali international could be secured for a modest transfer fee.
Traoré joined the La Liga side in 2023 after a successful six-year spell at Rennes, where he served as captain and made over 200 appearances.
This season, he featured 13 times for Real Sociedad. Paris FC hope to reach an agreement to sign the defender as soon as possible.
