France forward of Malian descent, Ousmane Dembele, has indicated that he is not fixated on winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or award.
According to him, what he is thinking about is winning the UEFA Champions League with PSG.
“Everyone is talking to me about that, but as I have said before, before thinking about the Ballon d’Or, you have to win the Champions League.
“When you’re a PSG player, there are much more important things than individual trophies; you have to think about bringing home this trophy (Champions League),” Ousmane Dembele said in an interview ahead of the UEFA Champions League final.
PSG will lock horns with Inter Milan on Saturday, May 31, in the finals of this season’s UEFA Champions League.
Having already helped PSG to clinch the Trophée des Champions in 2025, French Ligue 1, and Coupe de France trophies, Ousmane Dembele is one of the favourites to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
He will be in a better position if PSG beats Inter Milan to win the UCL.
