Ousmane Dembele ready for Liverpool challenge

Fresh from his brace against Toulouse on Matchday 28 in Ligue 1, Ousmane Dembele already has his mind fixed on Paris Saint-Germain’s looming Champions League quarter-final with Liverpool.

The Ballon d’Or winner knows the level will rise again when the Reds visit, but his tone is calm, focused and quietly confident.

In comments reported by Paris Fans, Dembele stressed that PSG must embrace the stage over two legs. “We hope to put in two good performances. We know they’re a tough side; we had quite a few problems and it went to penalties. We know this is the Champions League quarter-finals, so anything can happen. We’ll try to rise to the occasion,” he said.

PSG and Liverpool meet on 8 April for the first leg, with everything set for a high-intensity tie under the lights.
