RS Berkane attacking midfielder, Yassin El-Bahri says they are targeting winning a historic treble next season.
Berkane made history in the Moroccan topflight by clinching the title. They have also reached the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking to Kooora after defeating Tangier in the Throne Cup on Thursday, El-Bahri said, “Morale is high. The group is cohesive, and the fans and management support the players. What’s stopping us from moving forward to achieve this great dream?”
“We will fight to win the Confederation Cup and the Throne Cup. The treble, God willing, is our biggest bet.
“Humility is our weapon and Berkane’s strength. We respect our opponents, but we have great confidence in the team’s performance and the players’ performance, so we are very happy with what has been achieved. But more importantly, we are hungry to win more titles,” he added.
Renaissance Berkane will face Ivorian ASEC next Wednesday in the first leg of the Confederation Cup quarter-finals.
