Osama Nabih, the former coach of Zamalek, believes that Saif Farouk Jaafar’s return to Zamalek paves the way for the possible return of Youssef Osama Nabih, a player from Pyramids FC, to the White Club.
In televised statements on MBC Egypt, Osama Nabih stated, “Undoubtedly, Saif Farouk Jaafar’s return to Zamalek opens the door for Youssef Osama Nabih to come back, who grew up in Zamalek.
There is always a nostalgic element for him to return once again.”
He added, “Saif and Youssef were raised in Zamalek, and each had circumstances that led to their departure.”
Further emphasizing, “Youssef signed contracts with Zamalek, but due to the randomness, these contracts are now lying at my house.”
Continuing, “No one should exaggerate and say Youssef abandoned Zamalek. Zamalek doesn’t lose, and there were reasons that led to his departure.
Whoever was negotiating with Youssef for contract renewal had no authority after the departure of the board.”
Nabih continued to share, “I spoke with Abdelwahed El Sayed and asked him if he knew anything about the contract renewal issue.
He replied, ‘I have nothing to do with the renewal issue at all.'”
He went on, “Abdelwahed (appeared on Zamalek TV and claimed that he offered Youssef a renewal), despite me telling him that Youssef had already moved to Pyramids.
The next day they froze him, and the club was in a state of administrative vacuum.”
Nabih concluded, “I sensed a breath of relief after Saif Farouk Jaafar’s return to Zamalek because Zamalek is our home, and if we have a chance, we will return.”
