Orlando Pirates youngster Mbekezeli Mbokazi emerges as transfer target for Al Ahly

Orlando Pirates youngster Mbekezeli Mbokazi has emerged as a transfer target for Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Cairo-based outfit are expected to bolster their attack this summer for the FIFA Club World Cup and the new season at large.

Mbokazi continues to turn heads with his performances for Orlando Pirates, making 17 appearances, scoring a goal and delivering an assist across the period.

His outstanding performance has caught the attention of several clubs including Al Ahly, who are keen on securing his services for the new season.

Known for his solid defensive abilities, the Soweto giants are said not to be willing to cash in on the enterprising defender. The club sees him as one for the future and will do everything possible to keep him at the club.

The 19-year-olfd joined Orlando Pirates in October 2024 and has since established himself as a key member of the team.
