According to a statement from MC Alger’s management, posted on their official Facebook page, the agreement was facilitated by Ooredoo. The meeting that led to this partnership took place last Monday at Ooredoo Algeria’s headquarters, where Ooredoo Algeria’s General Manager, Rony Tamma, welcomed PSG’s Regional General Manager, Deleim Fabian.
The meeting was also attended by Ooredoo Group’s Regional CEO, Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Naama, alongside the Sales Director and the Communication and Marketing Director of Ooredoo Group, and Hakim Haj Rjem, Chairman of the Board of MC Alger.
The statement highlighted that the meeting provided an opportunity for Ooredoo and PSG to discuss their future plans and potential collaborative activities with MC Alger.
As the oldest and most successful club in Algeria, and the reigning champion of the 2023-2024 season, MC Alger stands to gain significantly from this collaboration, which is also aimed at benefiting youth development.
MC Alger’s management emphasized that through this high-level sports initiative, Ooredoo Algeria aims to elevate the standard of its sports partners by offering them the chance to benefit from the expertise and experience of top-tier global football professionals.
It is noteworthy that Ooredoo is the official sponsor of Paris Saint-Germain and has integrated MC Alger into its collaborative framework with the French club.
This project aims to contribute to the development of football by implementing a broad activation strategy that includes activities designed to leverage Ooredoo’s expertise in the advancement of Algerian football.
