Eintracht Frankfurt, featuring Egyptian international Omar Marmoush, drew 3-3 against Freiburg in today’s match of the ongoing German Bundesliga season.
The two teams clashed at the “Europapark” stadium as part of the 22nd round of the German league.
Omar Marmoush opened the scoring for Frankfurt in the 27th minute of the first half before Ritsu Doan equalized for Freiburg in the 30th minute.
Ansgar Knauff extended Frankfurt’s lead with the second goal in the 36th minute, courtesy of a decisive pass from Omar Marmoush.
However, Vincenzo Grifo leveled the score again for Freiburg in the 45+5 minute.
Ansgar Knauff secured Frankfurt’s third goal in the 72nd minute, again assisted by Marmoush.
In the 89th minute, Grifo snatched the equalizer and the third goal for Freiburg.
With this result, Frankfurt accumulated 33 points, securing the sixth position, while Freiburg has 29 points, placing them in eighth position.
