Omar Kamal, the talented footballer, has been officially announced as part of Al Ahly’s squad, according to Walid Daabes, the President of Modern Future.
Daabes conveyed this news in an exclusive interview with “ETC” channel, expressing his best wishes for Kamal’s success with Al Ahly.
He remarked, “I wish Omar Kamal all the best at Al Ahly.”
Daabes continued by stating, “It’s natural to seek the interests of your club and those who stood by you.
Al Ahly has supported Modern Future, and we want to strengthen this relationship. Additionally, the player himself expressed his desire to move to Al Ahly.”
Addressing whether Zamalek had entered negotiations to acquire Omar Kamal, Daabes responded, “Zamalek has not engaged in any negotiations with Modern Future to sign Omar Kamal, especially as he is currently under suspension.”
Daabes concluded, “Omar Kamal has only six months left on his contract with us, but Al Ahly did not wish to take the backdoor approach.
There was a respectful negotiation process with us.”
An earlier source from Al Ahly had shared details of Omar Kamal’s transfer with FilGoal.com, stating, “Omar Kamal has become a player for Al Ahly for a duration of three and a half years.
Coach Koller emphasized that the player would be valuable for his plans due to his ability to contribute in multiple positions.”
The source added, “We could have waited until the end of the season to sign him for free, but he will benefit the team now.
Moreover, it provides an opportunity for Al Ahly’s youth to participate with Modern Future and gain experience.”
Modern Future recently adjusted its agreement with Al Ahly regarding Omar Kamal Abdulwahid, a promising addition to the football scene, as the team continues to strategize for success.
