Al Ahly have loaned young midfielder Omar El Saaiy to Al Masry SC for the upcoming season, as part of what appears to be a larger strategic plan in the current transfer window.
The Cairo giants finalized the deal this morning, allowing El Saaiy to join Al Masry on a one-year loan. A club source revealed to Kooora that Al Ahly’s administrative staff secured the midfielder’s signature after getting official clearance from top management. The loan deal includes a purchase option, which depends on mutual agreement among all three parties.
“The loan will be for one season, with a clause giving Al-Masry the right to purchase the player permanently, subject to the approval of all three parties,” the source explained.
Talks between the two clubs intensified in recent hours, with Al Ahly still awaiting coach Jose Riveiro’s final decision on whether to pursue a deal for Al Masry left-back Ahmed Eid before the transfer window closes.
El Saaiy joined Al Ahly from Ismaily last season in a deal valued at 50 million Egyptian pounds.
