Omar Ben Ali: CS Sfaxien forward joins Alanyaspor in permanent transfer
Alanyaspor have completed the signing of Tunisian centre-forward Omar Ben Ali from CS Sfaxien in a permanent transfer to the Turkish Super Lig club. The 21-year-old moves to Turkiye from the Tunisian Ligue 1 side, with the deal finalised on 6 July 2026. The fee has not been disclosed, though his current market valuation stands at 750,000.
Ben Ali, a right-footed striker born in Hammam-Lif on 22 April 2005, arrives after a rapid rise in Tunisian football. He had been on the books of CS Sfaxiens first team since 2023, earning a promotion from their youth ranks before establishing himself sufficiently to attract interest from abroad.
His move to Alanyaspor marks his first transfer outside Tunisia and a step up from domestic competition in Ligue 1 to the Super Lig. The Turkish side add a player whose market value has risen sharply over the last two years, climbing from 50,000 in mid-2024 to 750,000 by June 2026 while at CS Sfaxien.
Before breaking through in Sfax, Ben Ali progressed through the ranks at his hometown club CS Hammam-Lif, stepping up from their under-19 side to the senior team in 2022. A switch to Club Sportif Sfaxiens under-21s followed in early 2023, before he earned a place in the Sfaxien first team later that year.
Ben Ali now joins Alanyaspor as a young attacking option with experience in Tunisias top flight and a trajectory of consistent market value growth.
