Olympique de Marseille has officially parted ways with coach Elie Baup following the team’s recent defeat against Nantes on the 17th day of Ligue 1. José Anigo, the sporting director of the club, will serve as interim manager. Vincent Labrune, the president of OM, expressed the difficulty of the decision, citing Baup’s appreciated human qualities. Labrune emphasized the need for a psychological shock to reignite the team’s ambitions.
