Brice Dja Djédjé, the Ivorian defender recently recruited by Marseille, suffered an injury during training on Tuesday, resulting in a right ankle sprain. Following examinations conducted on Wednesday, it was determined that the injury is minor. Dja Djédjé will undergo appropriate treatment and aims to recover in time for Marseille’s upcoming match against Stade Rennais on Saturday.
“I’m going to receive further treatment tomorrow (Thursday), and we’ll assess my progress on Friday. I hope to be fit for Saturday’s match in Rennes,” Dja Djédjé revealed regarding his recovery plan.
Since joining Marseille in the winter transfer window from Evian Thonon-Gaillard, Dja Djédjé has appeared in three matches for the club, starting in one of them. His presence on the field is eagerly anticipated by Marseille as they prepare for their upcoming fixture in Ligue 1.
