Olympique de Marseille has formally announced the acquisition of experienced Comorian international right back, Kassim Abdallah, for its reserve team. The 36-year-old footballer, who previously played for the club between 2012 and 2014, brings a wealth of experience to bolster the Phocéens reserve squad.
Kassim Abdallah’s return to Marseille has been in the works since December 2023, and the club has now confirmed the completion of the deal through an official press release published on its website, om.fr, on February 19, 2024. The seasoned right back has inked a contract that extends until 2025.
Having most recently played for Marignane-Gignac-Côte-Bleue FC in the National league, Abdallah’s comeback to Olympique de Marseille marks a significant reunion.
