Olympiacos Piraeus secured a resounding victory against Lamia in the Greek Super League Play-offs, with Moroccan striker Youssef El-Arabi capping off the goal spree with a decisive strike.

The encounter, which unfolded on Sunday as part of the 4th day of the Play-offs for the league title, witnessed Olympiacos Piraeus assert their dominance from the outset.

Stevan Jovane set the tone early for the visitors, finding the back of the net just 22 minutes into the match.

Rapidly extending their lead, Olympiacos Piraeus doubled their advantage in the 26th minute courtesy of Ayoub El Kaabi, who coolly converted a penalty.

Lamia’s plight worsened as two own goals compounded their misery, leaving them trailing by four goals.

With the match firmly in their control, Olympiacos Piraeus introduced Youssef El-Arabi into the fray, adding further impetus to their attacking prowess.

El-Arabi wasted no time in making his mark, contributing to the goal festival orchestrated by the Piraeus club.

In the 85th minute, El-Arabi etched his name on the scoresheet with a clinical finish, extending Olympiacos Piraeus’ lead to 5-0.

Despite a late consolation goal from Toshio Lake for Lamia in the 88th minute, the outcome was never in doubt.

Moroccan duo Ayoub El Kaabi and Youssef El-Arabi emerged as pivotal figures for Olympiacos Piraeus, spearheading their offensive onslaught against Lamia. El Kaabi, with an impressive tally of 27 goals in 39 matches, continued to showcase his goal-scoring prowess, while El-Arabi’s contribution of 7 goals and an assist further bolstered the Piraeus club’s attacking threat.

As Olympiacos Piraeus maintains their pursuit of Super League glory, their emphatic victory over Lamia underscores their dominance in the Greek football landscape, with El-Arabi’s decisive strike serving as a testament to their attacking flair and championship aspirations.
