The Egyptian Professional League concluded its first round, with 10 teams securing their place in the prestigious NILE League for the upcoming season after progressing to the final stage of the championship.
According to the league regulations, the competition starts with 20 teams in the initial stage.
From these, 10 teams are selected to compete for direct qualification to the NILE League, while the third-placed team engages in a four-team playoff with the third-placed team from the second division.
The qualified teams for the NILE League final will carry the points earned in the first round into a single-round league, and the ultimate qualification will be determined based on the total points.
