Razak Boukari is making a return to France and is set to play in Ligue 1 this season. FC Sochaux Montbéliard confirmed on Tuesday the loan agreement for the Togolese midfielder from Wolverhampton (English D3).
Although the deal was initially intended to be finalized last week, the two parties encountered difficulties in reaching an agreement, leading to Boukari’s temporary return to England. However, now the situation has been rectified, and Boukari is back on track. The “Epervier” (sparrowhawk) will grace the field at Bonal, aiming to put behind him a challenging year in the Championship. Having joined Wolves in September 2012, Boukari played only four matches before succumbing to injury for the entire season.
Boukari is returning to the top-tier French championship, an arena he previously experienced during his time with Lens. His official presentation is scheduled for this afternoon.
