It’s great news for Arouna Koné, as he has successfully signed a three-year deal with the English club Everton. Arouna Koné had joined Wigan just a year prior from Levante in Spain. At 29 years old, the Ivorian striker has an extensive football career, having played in Belgium with Lierse, in the Netherlands with Roda JC and PSV, and in La Liga with Sevilla FC. His notable contribution of 13 goals last season played a role in Wigan’s FA Cup victory over Manchester City.
After enjoying a few extra days of vacation due to his participation with Ivory Coast at the 2014 World Cup, Arouna Koné is expected to join his new Everton teammates later in the month.
