Nouhoum Kamissoko, a 19-year-old attacking midfielder, is embracing a new challenge with Berrichonne de Châteauroux after securing a loan move from Olympique Marseille.
Arriving at the Marseille reserve from Étoiles du Mandé in 2023, Kamissoko has now taken a pivotal step in his career, fueled by ambition and gratitude.
Speaking to Africafoot, Kamissoko expressed his excitement: “I am delighted to be involved with Berrichonne de Châteauroux until the end of the season. I want to thank the club for this opportunity and my family and teammates for their support. Joining this great family fills me with emotion.”
With Châteauroux striving for promotion to Ligue 2, Kamissoko is fully aligned with the club’s ambitions. “My goal is to reach the top by giving my best and helping the club achieve its objectives. Reaching Ligue 2 is a major target this season,” he said.
The young star also revealed his confidence in the club’s developmental approach: “Discussions with the leaders reassured me. This is a place where young players can grow.”
