Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Swiss forward of Senegalese descent, Dan Ndoye.
The English Premier League club announced the acquisition of the forward on Thursday, July 31, indicating that the player has signed a five-year contract.
“Nottingham Forest is delighted to confirm the signing of Dan Ndoye, who has signed a five-year deal.
“The Swiss international arrives from Bologna, where he played 75 times for the Serie A side having joined in the summer of 2023. The 2024/25 season was a particularly successful year, with Ndoye scoring the only goal in the Coppa Italia final to earn Bologna’s first major trophy in over 50 years,” Forest announced in an official statement.
Dan Ndoye, 24, played in all of the Italian side’s eight Champions League matches last season.
He featured in 41 games across the season, scoring nine times. His impressive record last season was not just as a goal scorer, but as a creative playmaker.
Ndoye registered 6 assists and his impressive ball carrying stats were bettered by only five players in Serie A in 2024/25.
The forward arrives at Nottingham Forest with the expectation to replace winger Anthony Elanga who joined Newcastle United early this month.
