Lyon are being linked with a move for Bröndby IF attacking midfielder Noah Nartey, with French and Danish reports suggesting the Ligue 1 side are tracking the 20-year-old.

The Denmark- and Ghana-eligible playmaker, currently valued at €8.00m on Transfermarkt, is the subject of growing speculation over a switch from the Danish Superliga to France. The move is listed as a rumour, with the probability of any deal still marked as unclear (“?”), and there is no indication yet of an agreed fee or contract terms between the clubs.

Nartey is under contract at Bröndby, but with no public end date recorded, observers have noted the possibility that his situation could evolve quickly if negotiations stall, potentially increasing talk of a future free-agent scenario. For now, however, Lyon’s interest remains at the exploratory stage, with the player continuing as part of the Superliga side’s first-team set-up.

Born on 5 October 2005 in Bagsværd and standing at 1.80m, Nartey has progressed through Bröndby’s youth ranks after joining from FC Copenhagen’s academy in 2021. He moved from Bröndby’s U17s to the U19s in 2022 before being promoted to the senior squad ahead of the 2024–25 season, where he now wears shirt number 35. His rapid rise has been mirrored by a steep climb in market value, from €200,000 in 2023 with Bröndby U19 to €8.00m with the first team by December 2025.

A right-footed attacking midfielder, Nartey has so far played his club football exclusively in Denmark, and a transfer to Lyon would represent his first move outside the Superliga. If the rumoured switch materialises, it could mark a significant step in his development and shape the next phase of his career in one of Europe’s more demanding top flights.
