Noah Atubolu receives offers from Marseille and Napoli

Noah Atubolu is weighing concrete proposals from three European clubs as the Freiburg goalkeeper considers leaving the Bundesliga side this summer.

Reports from kicker say Olympique Marseille, Napoli and Bournemouth have all made approaches for the 24-year-old.

The opportunity would allow Atubolu to take an important step forward, with Marseille and Napoli reportedly offering him the possibility of becoming their first-choice goalkeeper. Bournemouth, coached by German manager Marco Rose, would provide a more competitive route, with Djordje Petrovic expected to challenge for the starting position.

Atubolu’s representatives were reportedly in Naples during the week for negotiations, highlighting the Italian club’s interest. Juventus have also been linked with the goalkeeper, although no formal offer from the Turin side has been confirmed.

The Freiburg academy graduate is believed to be ready for a new challenge one year before his contract expires. The club are reportedly seeking between €15 million and €20 million for his transfer. Freiburg have already prepared for a possible departure by signing Mio Backhaus, who could become his replacement.

Atubolu must now assess which destination offers the best combination of regular football, sporting ambition and long-term development.
