Lionel Messi is also absent. The squad consists of players from Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, and Arsenal. The players include Manuel Neuer, Philip Lahm, David Alaba, Franck Ribéry, Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marco Reus, and Mesut Ozil. The team was chosen through more than six million votes.
