Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Turkish side Kasimpasa, according to reports from Completesports.com.

The decision marks the end of his tenure at the club, following a series of events that led to the agreement.

Omeruo had been sidelined by an injury sustained during a 3-3 draw against Galatasaray last September.

However, the Super Eagles defender has since recovered and returned to full training.

This season, he featured in five league matches for Kasimpasa, but it now appears that both the player and the club have opted to part ways.

The 30-year-old is reportedly weighing offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as he looks to continue his career abroad.

Omeruo’s relationship with Kasimpasa dates back to 2015 when he first joined the club on loan from Chelsea.

After a two-year stint, he returned to Kasimpasa for another loan spell before ultimately securing a permanent move to the club in 2023.

Throughout his time in Turkey, Omeruo made 85 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals and three assists.

His departure comes after a period of uncertainty, but the experienced defender will now seek new opportunities in the Middle East.
