Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected advances from Manchester United.
The forward is understood to have turned down an offer from Manchester United in the past week.
According to sources, the player’s decision comes after Manchester United asked the Super Eagles sensation to take a pay cut.
Osimhen’s decision could pave the way for Turkish champions Galatasaray, who are said to have presented the most appealing offer currently on the table.
Reports suggest a move to Istanbul could be imminent.
The 26-year-old’s future at Napoli remains uncertain. Tensions between player and club have reportedly escalated in recent months, and while Osimhen remains one of the most sought-after strikers in world football, his high wages and Napoli’s €75 million asking price have caused hesitation among several European clubs.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are still actively seeking a new striker, with current forward Rasmus Højlund reportedly nearing an exit.
Osimhen’s future will become clearer in the next few weeks.
