Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has revealed that it will be an honour for him to play for Bayern Munich.
The KRC Genk forward has been linked with a potential move to the German Bundesliga champions in the summer.
Bayern Munich are in the market looking for a new striker to play as backup for England striker Harry Kane.
Speaking in an interview, Tolu Arokodare has disclosed that he would love to play for Bayern Munich one day if the opportunity presents itself.
“If the opportunity arises, I have to make sure I’m ready. You never know how often a train like that will pass by, so I don’t want to miss any opportunities,” the Nigerian told Het Laatste Nieuws.
Tolu Arokodare continued, “Could I be Harry Kane’s replacement? Yes. That would be nice, wouldn’t it? But those are just rumours, I haven’t had any contact.”
Despite the strong interest to sign the Nigerian striker, Bayern Munich are yet to make a decision on the move.
