Nigerian international Tolu Arokodare has emerged as a transfer target of Italian giants AC Milan.
According to reports, the Italian club has been closely monitoring the KRC Genk striker, who enjoyed an impressive form last season.
The 24-year-old in the 2024/25 football season netted 23 goals and registered seven assists in 45 competitive matches for the Belgian side.
His performance has attracted attention from several top clubs.
AC Milan’s interest in Arokodare comes as the club looks to reinforce its attacking line while preparing to offload out-of-favour Belgian striker Divock Origi.
The former Liverpool forward, who joined Milan on a free transfer in 2022, failed to make an impact and did not feature at all this season following a disappointing loan stint at Nottingham Forest.
With Origi earning €4 million annually and under contract until June 2026, he was spotted at the club’s headquarters earlier today to discuss a potential mutual termination.
Once that is out of the way, AC Milan will make formal contact with KRC Genk in hopes of agreeing on a deal for Tolu Arokodare.
