Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi is open to continuing with Leicester City despite the team’s relegation from the English Premier League.
According to him, it is important for the team to stay together and learn from the latest setback.
Ndidi is confident that Leicester City can make a swift comeback to the Premier League next season.
“Of course. But first, we have to learn from this. If we don’t learn from this, we’re just wasting our time. We just have to learn from this season,” Ndidi said in an interview with Showmax when asked if an immediate return to the Premier League is now the primary and unequivocal objective for Leicester City.
The Foxes have struggled to compete in the 2024/25 English Premier League and have dropped into the English Championship.
If Ndidi stays, he will be a key man for Leicester City in their fight to return to the English top-flight.
The 28-year-old midfielder has four assists to his name this season but no goals after making 27 appearances in the Premier League.
