Nigerian international Ola Aina has signed a new contract with Nottingham Forest, extending his stay with the English Premier League outfit.
According to Nottingham Forest, the full-back’s new deal will keep him at the club until 2028.
“Nottingham Forest is delighted to confirm Ola Aina has signed a new deal, extending his stay until the summer of 2028,” the club announced in an official statement.
Ola Aina played a pivotal role in the team’s 24/25 campaign, starting in 35 of 38 Premier League games.
The Super Eagles defender signed for Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2023 from Serie A side Torino, going on to make 59 appearances for the Reds in all competitions.
After playing 100 times in the Italian top division, Ola has plenty of experience playing at the highest level, needing just nine more games to reach a century in the Premier League.
The 2025/26 football season may also see Ola reach another milestone, with the Nigerian international needing just four caps to reach 50 for the Super Eagles.
Nottingham Forest are pleased with the player’s decision to extend his stay and hopes to get the best from him in the upcoming season.
