English outfit Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move to sign Nigerian international Ola Aina in the summer transfer window.
According to information gathered from sources, the Reds are keen on securing the services of the Nottingham Forest full-back as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold in case he leaves the club in the summer transfer window.
Since the winter window, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been linked with a move away from Liverpool, with Real Madrid reportedly his next destination.
Despite efforts to sign the Englishman to a new contract, no progress has been made.
Sources have indicated that Trent Alexander-Arnold is ready to move on and wants to join Los Blancos at the end of the season.
With Liverpool looking to stay stronger if the top defender leaves the club, officials are already looking for a replacement and have identified Ola Aina as a good fit.
The club will reportedly contact Forest at the end of the season to try and sign the Nigerian.
Aina, 28, has been in sensational form for Nottingham Forest this season. He has scored two goals and provided one assist after making 32 appearances for the team in all competitions.
