Legendary Nigeria midfielder, John Mikel Obi, has praised Ola Aina for his consistent exploits with club side, Nottingham Forest.
Aina has been a livewire for Forest in the ongoing season and has featured in all matches, scoring two goals in the process.
“He has had a good season so far. One thing he has added to his game this season is that he’s defending well,” Mikel Obi, who won the 2012 Champions League with Chelsea said on the Obi One Podcast.
“He is putting in a lot of crosses now and, of course, chipping in a couple of goals as well, which is absolutely fantastic to see.
“Listen, we all knew he was a fantastic player at the club. He has gone to Forest and has been playing well since returning to the Premier League from Italy,” he added.
Nottingham Forest are currently third on the English Premier League table and have gathered 37 points from 19 games.
Aina, who is regarded as one of the best defenders in the Premier League will hope to keep his performance intact when Nottingham Forest travel to play Wolves on Monday.
