Nigerian defender Jordan Torunarigha has shared his delight after completing his move to newly-promoted German Bundesliga club Hamburger SV.
Speaking in his first interview, Jordan Torunarigha said he is ready to use all his strengths and experiences to help Hamburger SV succeed in the 2025/26 football season.
“I know the Bundesliga and am very happy to be returning and playing in this special league again – especially with a club steeped in tradition like HSV.
“The management made a great effort for me and gave me a great feeling. I can hardly wait to get to know my teammates, the coaching staff, the staff, the fans, and the city, and to use all my strengths and experience to help us have a successful season together and achieve our goals,” Jordan Torunarigha said as quoted on the Hamburger SV website.
Jordan Torunarigha, 27, has signed from Hamburger SV on a free transfer from Belgian first division club KAA Gent.
